Though much of the discussion with Andy is specific to Brightspace D2L I believe there are many nuggets of wisdom shared by a habitual early adopter of edtech. Tech Tool of the Week 

Using the embed code from your Google Slide show in your Brightpace/D2L Announcements. The announcement post will automatically update when you modify the Google slideshow. It’s as simple as cutting and pasting. All the slide show functionality, hot links etc. will be included! Baumann Certified Tutorial forthcoming!
