Episode 77 - GIALLOWEEN SPECIAL - TORSO

Happy Gialloween! This year we’re taking a psycho-sexual trip to rural Italy for Sergio Martino’s slasherific giallo, Torso! Starring Suzy Kendall, Torso finds a bunch of sexy co-ed students stalked, strangled and dismembered by a masked maniac. Sound familiar? It should, because an entire subgenre of horror came to fruition less than a decade after this film was made. Pitting witty female characters against dumb, lecherous men, Torso is a fun ride that’s not quite as convoluted as some of the other gialli we’ve covered. But did we like it?
