In this episode, my guest, Sara Im shares her harrowing experience when the Khmer Rouge regime took over Cambodia.
For 4 years she was held captive and endured very harsh working conditions. She worked long hours in the rice fields under the intensely hot sun. She lived with very little food or sleep which made her very sick. When she got too ill to work, she was sent to a death camp to die.
Listen as she shares her story of hope and survival in part 1 of this conversation.
