The Black Museum - The Telegram

A lady is riding on the train southwest from London to Boscombe for work purposes.  A gentleman sits down next to her and starts to make polite conversation. Specific information is not exchanged, but the lady does mention she is a cook, and that is the reason for her trip. Later, when the stop is made at Boscombe, the lady exits the train. A man walks up and asks her if she is the new cook for the Eagan's at the Woodmere house. She said she is, and he tells her that he is the Eagan's chauffeur and is to drive her to their home. However, the chauffeur keeps driving out into the countryside until it is getting dark. The lady starts to get nervous and says "is it much further? Why have you left the main road?" The chauffeur says "because I have brought you out here for a specific purpose". A farmer finds her body the next morning.
