Isaiah 40:27-31: Waiting (God is in the Manger)

While culturally we celebrate the holidays as a time for gathering with family and friends, catching up, giving gifts, eating and drinking, and being merry. Religiously, Advent and Christmas have very particular points of focus. Advent points to a time of expectation for the arrival of something long expected: a messenger, a long-awaited Messiah. Christmas zeros us in on the birth Jesus, God made manifest in human flesh. Join us for this series that sets the stage for the mystery of Christmas.
