This sermon takes its text from Luke 4:16-28 which is about Jesus' reading from Isaiah at the Nazareth synagogue. In that text Jesus lays out his intention to preach good news to the poor, the outcast, and the broken. It did not meet with approval in the synagogue. The sermon is about his mission.
