Speaker BioByron (Brad) Carrier attended Meadville/Lombard Theological School at the University of Chicago 1969-1971 and 1985-1986. Beyond that, he attended the Humanist Institute in NY (’87-’90) and traveled to India (’72) where he encountered the Blind Saint of Vrindivan and Shri Rajneesh. Brad has served UU congregations in St. Joseph, Michigan, Urbana, Illinois, Clinton, North Carolina, and Ashland, Oregon (’86-’94). He helped found the UU fellowship in Grants Pass, Oregon, which now owns its own building and recently granted Reverend Carrier emeritus status.
