Episode 121: Healthcare in Ontario

It’s the third year of the COVID pandemic, and everywhere you go, people are asking: what is the state of our healthcare? At a time when we try to think globally and act locally, this is an important ethical and practical concern.

 

Today we hear from two people working in healthcare.

 

Ross Kirkconnell is the executive director of the Guelph Family Health Team. He oversees many practical concerns that affect both patients and healthcare professionals.

 

Ashley Fox is a registered practical nurse who has experience working in community and home healthcare, retirement and Long-Term Care, addiction and mental health care, palliative care, and in various hospital settings.
