Welcome to the Wake Up Late with Dougie Show.  Listen in as Dougie Almeida & Peter Leonard are joined in the studio by the hilarious, Steve Marshall.  So let's talk Comedy!  Young comics who complain about getting the check spot.  What's your motivation as a comedian?  Steve explains the importance of "Pauses" on stage and learning how to, "Stay in the pocket".  Why do comedy clubs have brick walls as their backdrop? What can you learn in acting school?  Should friends be close to your girlfriend or wife?  Like call them, IM them, hang out with them?  Steve tells us how he walked over 100 people out of Dangerfields.  Most comedians do it simply for the love an attention.  Steve shares with us the challenges of making it in comedy.  Comedians sometimes need to adjust their set based on the venue.
