In Spring 2020, Rosemary Ketchum became the first transgender person to win an election in West Virginia. Beyond making history and breaking down barriers, Rosemary is focused on tackling big issues in her new role as a council member in Wheeling such as homelessness, mental health, and encouraging young people to move to her city.
In this podcast, Rosemary talks about her background in mental health, the challenges that young people have faced with trauma after trauma since 2000, and why more young voices should be represented in all levels of government. You will not want to miss this episode!
