Should You Pay for Trading Charts? (or use free…)

When you step into the world of trading online, there are many tools you will need in order to build and execute your strategy. Like any career field, these tools come in a variety of shapes and size. This includes tools that are free and others that you need to pay for. Assuming you are (or want to be) a technical day trader, you will need a tool to provide you with your technical trading charts. Because technical charts are popular within the trading world, there are a huge amount of choices. This is great because you have lots of choices, but it’s also bad in the sense of all these choices creating a feeling of being overwhelmed.  Should you pay for your trading charts? This is the consideration I want to address and walk you through a real life example that I believe helps clarify this question.
