Songhoy Blues is a desert blues music group from Bamako, Mali. The band was formed in Bamako after being forced to leave their homes during the civil conflict and the imposition of strict laws. The band released its debut album, Music in Exile, via Transgressive Records on February 23, 2015. They release second album Resistance in 2017 and third album Optmisme in 2020. KiranPrabha narrates the highly inspiring story of Songhoy Blues music band. This special show includes video interview with base guitarist Oumar Toure.
