Market Close 23 Nov 16: Market rallies to a five-week high

The Australian share market has extended yesterday’s 1.2% gain, rising 1.3% to a five week high of 5,484. It follows another stellar performance from US markets, where the Dow closed above 19,000 points for the first time ever.
