Market Close 9 Mar 22: First gain in four days for Aussie market

The Australian sharemarket rose by 1%, ending a three-day losing streak and doing enough to recoup Tuesday's losses. The US & UK ban on Russian oil imports pushed oil prices higher. Woodside rose by 0.75%.
