Sinn Fein MEP Matt Carthy is calling on the Irish government to insist a permanent solution to the Irish border issue post-Brexit be agreed, at the European Council meeting in June. 

Speaking to Irish Journalist, Eamonn Torsney, The Midlands North-West MEP discusses the risks of postponing an agreement on a back stop proposal to avoid a hard border, until the next summit in the autumn.
