I think we can all agree that heartbreak is devastating. But it can be especially difficult to walk away from a relationship with the person you know and love to walk into a purpose that you’re not sure about.

If anyone knows about this, it’s today’s guest, Shayla Hilton. God had big plans for Shayla, but the man she loved at the time was not a part of them. Shayla had a big decision to make, and thankfully, she chose to obey God.

Here’s a little more about Shayla: She is a minister, speaker, coach, author, educator and the host of the Called and Confident Podcast. Shayla is passionate about fulfilling God’s plan for her life. She believes her mission is to help others discover their calling and confidently move in the direction that God is leading them. Shayla has a heart for those who find themselves stuck and burdened by life. It is her desire to compassionately move those individuals from discouraged to refreshed through her prophetic teachings, real-life stories, and practical strategies. In addition, she has a passion for wellness and considers it to be a foundational principle for success. Shayla truly believes that two things are required for getting unstuck and moving forward in life: (1) cultivating an authentic relationship with Jesus and (2) prioritizing personal wellness.
