I got the idea from a book called "The Magic of Believing" by Claude Bristol and just shared it as a new exercise with my students in The Second Half SPARK School.
I listened to this book on audible a few months ago, and after finishing it, ordered this paperback version because it was so good, and I wanted to keep it as a reference because BELIEF is one of the critical components you need to have to achieve the goals and dreams you desire.
It sounds easy but it really isn't because so many of us are filled with so much fear and doubt. Fear and doubt are a human's kryptonite to belief.
But if you believe, with a deep down conviction, that what you desire is on its way to you, it will be the best weapon you'll ever have as you navigate your way through the land of fear and doubt.
Once you develop this deep conviction, you'll start to see the magic unfold. But it's quite a conundrum because in order to experience the magic, you must first believe, without evidence, and most of us demand to have the experience FIRST to believe in the magic. So you see the problem, right?
That's why I thought this fun little exercise may give you the experience you need to begin to believe in the magic that is available to you but you might not even be aware of.
