Episode 018 welcomes photographer, printmaker, collaborator, mother, and all-round cool woman Jillian M. Rock. We start the convo with Jillian's practice as a multidisciplinary artist, her work with the LAND Collective (@landcollective.nwk), and the Feminist Incubator Project (@pesfeministincubator). We're filled in on life as both a student and a mother, growing up in Brooklyn, and her background in both dancing and literature. Plus, we discuss being the first to break ground in one's field, self as community and bridging communities, The Presidential Election, race/identity, and how is excellence measured? "Excellence is my presence."
