This week's Super Paua Story is Sam and the Shapeshifters, by Wren Dennehy.
"But on nights when Mam wasn’t around, Granny and I would watch tv programmes about my favourite topic: space. I was obsessed with space, so much so that Granny nicknamed me her ‘little alien’. I loved pretending to be an alien from another planet. I always thought humans were so boring compared to the endless possibilities that existed in the alien world. Space was for everyone. It didn’t matter if you were a girl or a boy or whatever. In space, everyone was equal and nothing was weird."
