Sports Therapy Association Podcast
Health & Fitness
How much of the injury & pain experienced by our clients can be attributed to the modern day decline in physical activity in everyday life? As soft tissue therapists, what should we be doing with our clients to counterbalance this?
In this episode of the Sports Therapy Association Podcast, special guest John Scriven, Movement & Rehabilitation Specialist and founder of Move Well, discusses the current pandemic of 'physical illiteracy', and how having '21st-century brains in ice-age bodies' contributes to sedentary-related disease and movement inefficiency.
About John Scriven

With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has developed a unique approach to movement therapy that is influenced heavily by evolutionary and neurodevelopmental science whilst remaining grounded in evidence-based practice. He also has been heavily involved in the international physical literacy movement and spear headed a world-renowned development programme in Jersey.
