Woolworths Group’s Full Year Result 29 August 19: Woolworths (WOW) profits lift on supermarket sales but Big W still lags

Supermarket giant, Woolworths (WOW) has reported a net profit after tax (NPAT) of $1.75 billion from its continuing operations, following the sale of its petrol business during the year. Earnings before Interest & Tax (EBIT) also improved on the previous year, rising close to 7% to $2.72 billion, beating the consensus of analysts as surveyed by Bloomberg.
