We are continuing our folklore season and this time it's a rare first time watch for both of us as we talk Kaneto Shindo's 1964 film, Onibaba. Or Oni..ba.ba.ba as per Sarah's earworm. 

 

We discuss how old was considered old for a human in feudal Japan, Hannya masks and the usual loosely connected tangents.
