God in the Story (Judges #6)

Have you ever seen the movie Dumb and Dumber?

There's this great line where Jim Carrey's character asks a woman, "What are our chances?"

She says, "Not good." He responds, "Like one in a hundred."

She grimaces, "More like one in a million."

He smiles and says, "So you're telling me there's a chance."

Carrey's character flips the script on the story.

In Judges chapter 8, Gideon flips the script on God's story and makes it all about him. Do we ever do the same?
