US Close 10 Feb 17: US Stocks Gain on Trump Tax Talk

US sharemarkets rose on Thursday to record highs after US President Trump promised to provide details of tax reform over the next 2-3 weeks. At the close of trade, the Dow Jones index was up by 118 points or 0.6% after being up 152 points in afternoon trade. The S&P 500 index was up by 0.6% while the Nasdaq was higher by 33 points or 0.7%.
