The book of Ruth is about God is continuing his work of moving Naomi from emptiness to fullness. In chapter 3 Naomi wants rest for Ruth, she sends her to Boaz the redeemer who fights for Ruth’s rest. Here we learn that God constantly call us out of our rest to fight for those who have no rest.
