Here to Stomp the Stigma today is Chad Kennedy, founder of Sea to Sea for PTSD!
Chad will be walking across Canada, from sea to sea, to raise money and awareness for PTSD beginning in April of 2022. This week he is walking the Alberta leg as a practice run, so he is walking across the province as you are listening to this episode!
In this episode we got to explore Chad’s personal experiences with PTSD, how it affects his everyday life, and how he manages his mental health. We also got to talk a bit about the stigmas and misconceptions surrounding first responders, PTSD, and around men opening up about their struggles.
