MESSAGE SUMMARY: While blessing us so that we might be a blessing to other people; God has healed us so that we might bring God's healing powers to others. God has saved us so that we can be His ambassadors. As Jesus commissioned His Apostles, just before His Ascension, in Matthew 28;19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.". The Gospel is the answer; but, often, we keep this answer to ourselves by not speaking and by the way that we live and communicate our faith. Walk the walk; talk the talk; and share Jesus with other people. Peter tells us, in 1 Peter 3:15, how we are to witness with the Gospel’s answer: “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Inconsistencies. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Self-Control. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, Procrastination kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).
