This is the latest and last of our current format of Original Vs. Remake episodes that we have been releasing on the last Friday of each month and, for a New Years Eve special, we’re discussing John Carpenter's 70s masterpiece, Assault on Precinct 13 and its bland and boring 2005 remake as well as our favourite and least favourite new releases of the month.

Going forward Original Vs. Remake episodes will be released on the last Tuesday of each month as part of our weekly episodes and we'll be including a best/worst of the week during every episode instead of the best/worst of the month once a month during OVR.
