US Close 14 June 17: Strong US rebound - Dow back at record highs ahead

US sharemarkets rose on Tuesday with technology, bank and energy stocks leading the gains. US Treasury also unveiled plans to revamp financial regulations. The Dow Jones ended higher by almost 93 points or 0.4%. The S&P 500 index lifted by 0.5% and the Nasdaq gained 45 points or 0.7%.
