Morning report 20 Feb 19: US markets lift on trade hopes

US sharemarkets were higher on Tuesday, underpinned by gains in bellwether stocks - WalMart and Amazon. Shares in WalMart rose 3.1% after holiday-quarter comparable sales beat estimates. With an hour of trade to go the Dow Jones index was up 0.2%.
