Smartphone Video For A Cause with Dimple Devadas Episode 24

Our guest for Episode 24 of the SBP Podcast is Dimple Devadas in London. Her film, Silence in London will screen during the International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego #MFF2018. Shot with an iPhone, the film shares an interesting message in a natural setting with a poetic song. Cassius Rayner made the movie with her. She and Cassius met in a mobile filmmaking class he taught in London and they decided to work on the film together. You can hear from him on Episode 20 of the SBP Podcast. Dimple is a psychologist by profession but she is also making films using smartphones. She says to “watch this space,” meaning her space, as she is already working on new projects. This podcast is a conversation about how some of the stories behind a film can help you understand the message behind a film and appreciate how it came together.
