Nisswa Lightning vs Avon Lakers Region 8C 2023

The defending State Champion Lightning earned the right to defend their title with a 2-0 win over the Lakers on Sunday in Avon.  Nate DeChaine was outstanding on the mound for Nisswa, throwing a Complete Game 3-hit shutout. Nisswa scored in the 2nd on Nate DeChaine's rbi single plating Kody Ruedisili, then added their other run in the 3rd inning on a sacrifice fly by Tyler Wittwer. The win moved Nisswa into the Region 8C Championship game against Buckman, while Avon will play in a State Play-In game against Foley on Saturday in Pierz,
