ACTS (PART 10) — SONS OF ENCOURAGEMENT VS. CHILDREN OF DECEPTION

Join us as we worship and continue our journey through the book of Acts. The same God who was at work in the lives of the first disciples is the God at work in our lives! Acts 4 and 5 contrasts the story of Barnabas with the story of Ananias and Sapphira. Three disciples who sold property and gave a monetary gift to the church. Barnabas did it out of purity of heart and was a great encouragement to the early church whereas Ananias and Sapphira did it out of deception with an intention of gaining 'clout' in the community. But God would not be mocked. Join us as learn to be 'Barnabases' who stay far away from the self-exalting and self-serving desires of an Ananias and Sapphira.
