Market Close 19 Jul 21: ASX falls as major banks & miners weigh

The Aussie market has started the week in the red with the ASX 200 down 62pts or 0.85% to 7,286. The major banks and miners weighed heavily while energy stocks also fell on an OPEC+ agreement to lift supply. Health stocks were some of the better performers for the day.
