Market Close 3 Mar 22: Aussie market lifts for 5th straight day

The Australian sharemarket rose by 0.5%, extending its winning streak to a fifth day for the first time this year. The world turning away from Russian commodities is creating concerns of a supply shortage, in turn pushing prices significantly higher. Both Woodside & Santos hit fresh 2-year highs while coal miner Whitehaven surged by 10%.
