European Parliament’s EPP Group to vote on presidential candidate – Kelly

The European Parliament’s EPP Group (European People’s Party) will vote this evening on the candidate it wants to contest next January’s European Parliament’s presidential elections. The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness is one of four candidates running for the EPP contest. Her colleague Sean Kelly, says the Midlands North-West MEP has a strong chance of winning tonight’s vote.
