MEP calls for protected employment status for terminally ill patients

Terminally ill workers should be given a protected employment status under EU law similar to that given to pregnant workers. So says the Fine Gael MEP Deirdre Clune. She’s calling for EU legislation that would safeguard the rights of terminally ill employees.
