It’s been 30 years since Lynn Miles (https://lynnmilesmusic.ca) released her debut full-length album, Chalk this one up to the Moon. Last year, in the midst of the pandemic, she released her 15th album, We’ll Look for Stars. In between, she had big record contracts, publishing deals, and toured all over the place. The stress and grind of it all almost killed her. Fortunately, she was able to channel a lot of her struggles into her magnificent songs. She’s come out of it with a highly-respected catalogue of work, a number of high-profile awards, and the respect and admiration of music fans and fellow musicians.
She’s also become an advocate for better mental health among musicians and greater awareness of mental illness.
