In today's edition, The Bridge of Don Men's Shed has leant a hand to build a children's play house and prepare road ready bikes for schools in the area. Recently, they held a fund raising drive which raised a lot of money. One of the purchases will be a defibrillator.

14 soldiers have taken part in a 617 mile cycle ride from North Wales and completing The Three Peaks Challenge en route. The soldiers finished in Ellon and were greeted by many people. £13,000 has been raised with more set to come in including from The bucket collection. Funds will be split between two charities - the first Friends of Anchor which helped one of the soldiers Daniel Stewart when he had testicular cancer a year ago. Funds are also going to The Royal Marines Charity.
