Donald Ray Hill became the first player in the history of Independence, KS Little League Baseball to hit an over-the-fence home run when he smashed a three-run blast on July 12, 1954, at Clark James Field. Don was honored in 2019, at the Independence Historical Museum and Arts Center, joining their Baseball Hall of Fame. This is an interview with Don and his wife Vernie.
