17. Holistic Edge Radio w/Guest Ginger Andro: People/Animal Aromatherapy & Other Plant Therapies

On today’s show I will be speaking with Ginger Andro, an artist who is trained as a National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy aromatherapist, also trained in flower essences, pet acupressure and EFT, and many other plant therapies. She addresses how any of these therapies can be used safely for people as well as for pets, but best under someone who has professional training, and to understand how these therapies can present a danger to our health and to our pets without a true understanding of the science behind each. And not to make the mistake that something that is natural or from plants must be harmless. As many of these therapies are considered another branch of medicine that is being practiced worldwide.

Ginger Andro is a level 2 NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist. She is also certified in Natural Perfumery and has studied at the Institute for Art & Olfaction. She is a lead teacher for Ebers School of Aromatherapy and is a registered Spiritual Phyto-Essencing practitioner for over 15 years. Ginger is also a Level 2 Animal Aromatherapist trained at Ashi Aromatics & Stillpoint Aromatics. She is also the NAHA(National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy, the overseeing body for aromatherapy in US) Regional Director for New Jersey in the Bergen County area, as well as the Secretary of the Lower Hudson Valley Chapter of The American Herbalist Guild. She has studied with Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute to train in animal acupressure and attained a level 3 certification in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) with CJ Puotinen.
