Mid-Session 15 Jun 18: Market rallies 1.2%; Aussie dollar hits one-month low

The Australian sharemarket is on track to record a second consecutive weekly gain, with the ASX 200 up 1.2% at mid-session. The local currency though is under pressure following a rise in the US dollar.
