IPERS and Iowa Workers

There is a saying in the media world that "bad news sells". When it comes to the Iowa Public Employees Retirement System (IPERS) there has been so much bad information that it's hard to figure out if IPERS is on the verge of collapse or if it is a healthy vehicle that, founded in 1953, continues its mission to provide not only a good retirement but also a positive vehicle to hire and retain top quality teachers. Here Donna Mueller the CEO of IPERS and Matt Carver an IPERS Advisory Board Member talk about the financial stability of the program.
