S2 E5 Bill Goffrier

Bill Goffrier may be best known as the guitarist and songwriter for the legendary art punk band The Embarrassment. However, he also founded the seminal Boston band Big Dipper, who made a pretty serious splash in the indie rock scene of the late 1980s. Through the intervening years, Bill has built a career as a fine art painter, focusing his brush on historic buildings and locales, most recently in Wichita, Kansas. Our conversation follows his art and his music and how they've intertwined.
