Narges Mohammadi is an Iranian human rights activist, physicist, and engineer who won the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize for her decades of human rights activism, predominantly against the Islamic regime of Iran. Mohammadi is currently imprisoned in Tehran's Evin Prison along with many of Iran's leading scholars and intellectuals.
