Festival of Plantation

On Sunday, 3rd July 2011, we gathered with our friends and family to begin the tree plantation. Panditji had arranged for extra labour to help with this task, as he wanted the trees to be put into the ground as soon as possible. While I had a plantation plan in mind, and a list of all the trees, it all started to blur in the heat of the moment! Eventually, we did a random plantation of the native trees, but managed to organize the fruit trees as per plan. We also planted a few swales to demonstrate the power of a humble swale...

We also planted a few swales to demonstrate the power of a humble swale in managing rainwater.
