Worship Day 1: Mary Worships at Jesus’ feet

Chance the Cheetah, Drexel the Dragon, and Liam the Lion step out of the time portal and into the warm evening air of Bethany. Laughter and the scent of delicious food fill the air—they’ve arrived just in time for a dinner gathering at the home of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus.

Inside, they find Jesus reclining at the table, Martha serving guests, Lazarus enjoying the company, and Mary sitting quietly near Jesus. The brothers watch in awe as Mary takes a jar of expensive perfume, kneels at Jesus’ feet, and gently pours it out, wiping His feet with her hair.

The room falls silent—until Judas speaks up, questioning why the perfume wasn’t sold and the money given to the poor. But Jesus defends Mary’s actions, calling them a beautiful preparation for His burial.

After the meal, the brothers speak with Mary outside. She explains that worship is about giving your best to Jesus—no matter what others think. Her quiet courage and love for Jesus leave a lasting impression on the brothers.

As they return home, Chance, Drexel, and Liam reflect on what worship really means: giving God your best, showing love with your actions, and honoring Him with your whole heart.
