#1200 - Day by Day for Monday, May 29

A reflection on the daily Mass reading from the Gospel of John for Monday, May 29. Today we celebrate a new memorial for the Church, established in 2018, the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church. The day after Pentecost, we remember that our Lord entrusted his Mother to the Church through the Apostle John and entrusted the Church to her as well.

Today also marks the 1200th continuous episode of Day by Day.
