Market Close 6 Aug 20: Market recoups Wednesday’s losses

The Australian sharemarket bounced by 0.7%; just enough to recoup Wednesday’s decline of 0.6%. A massive 5% lift in BHP shares helped most, while retailers like Nick Scali, Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi also advanced.
