Lord, Teach us to Pray

PREPARE TO HAVE SOME SACRED COWS TOPPLED!  Many people believe that prayer is simply asking God for things. For many Christians, prayer is such a basic concept that they don't feel there is a need to grow in their understanding and effectiveness in prayer.  But the disciples of Jesus were no strangers to prayer, yet they knew in watching Him that they lacked something in their own prayer lives.  This teaching, therefore, seeks to help us grow beyond the elementary concept of just asking God for things, hoping He might respond, to being confident in prayer and getting much better results than we ever have.
